DRIVING while using a HAND HELD DEVICE

Current legislation is in the process of being changed. The Ontario’s Road Safe Act will be introducing an increase in fine amounts of up to $1000 as well as accumulation of demerit points for distracting driving . Gone are the days of $155 fine for driving with a hand held device this offence will carry an accumulate of up to 3 demerit points and you could face a fine of up to $1000.There is rumour that distracted driving may also eventually fall under the category of careless driving or even impaired driving.
So put down that phone while driving……………………………
